<The journal features dedicated listings of sightings, observations, shift schedules and oddities encountered during the few hours the corps was stationed on the plateau. Despite having seen several specters of past denizens, nothing purveyed anything related to the disappearances from Northwind. While smoke was seen emanating from the castle ruins across the ravines, no attempts for reconnaissance were made yet. Furthermore, it appears that a small force of Thrall's Horde has settled on one of the smaller islands. Whatever they are planning on this island remains a conundrum for now.

The last page of this book describes the preparation for investigating the abandoned inn at Sorrowmore Lake, just at the foot of this plateau. Perhaps you can find survivors there.>
