Old Greypaw

For many long years our neighbor was that of a furbolg, he has grown aged over the last few years but was extremely wise. Old Greypaw often kept to himself, and minded his own business, often venturing over for a night time talk if he so needed the company.

As of lately I fear for his mental health, the other furbolg of the forest have begun to act irrationally, and I fear Greypaw may be succumbing to a similar fate. He has not stopped by in months, and has kept to his home to the north.

He has been aggresive to either me or Ardaen approaching and wishing to talk, but perhaps you may be able to speak with him, and ask if he is doing okay. It would certainly ease my mind to know an old friend is well.

He may act hostile, but I assure you, it is not within his nature, and deep down, he truly is a kind soul.

This a tragedy, for all of Ashenvale to have such a thing happen. The forest truly has lost a bright mind this day, withered away to a foul madness that lingers in the trees.

Do not feel bad, there was no averting this fate for Old Greypaw, he was a danger to both himself, and all who were near him. I pray for his spirit to transcend to Elune, and be watched for all eternity.

As much as I hate that it ended like this, I must still give you my thanks, for Greypaw was not himself, if he were around, he would have asked for such mercy to be released from his madness.
